What's Happening

  • City spending is up 52% in six years — far outpacing inflation
  • Taxable property values are rising ~10% annually, automatically increasing city revenue from property taxes
  • Costs to operate city should not be justified by the rising value of your property

Resident Impact

Past City Commissions — including my opponent — raised tax rates while property values surged, delivering a double hit to Cocoa Beach residents.

  • Per-resident spending is more than double every other Brevard city
  • A significant share of Cocoa Beach budget serves non-residents
  • Residents should not be expected to carry that burden.  Cocoa Beach’s millage rate should be among the lowest in the county

The Way Forward

Jeremy will continue fighting for:

  • Efficient use of every tax dollar
  • Transparent, accountable budgets

With newly aligned city leadership, FY2027 rollback tax rates are achievable — without reducing city services.

Jeremy is focused on one thing: protecting Cocoa Beach taxpayers while preserving the character and quality of life we love.

Building on the results of my first term, I’ll continue delivering responsible, independent leadership that puts Cocoa Beach residents first.

Results that Matter

  • Real cost controls: Competitive bidding on all city contracts and right-sized staffing
  • Reducing debt: Continuing to aggressively pay down the City’s ~$30M debt with minimal new borrowing
  • Efficient spending: Every tax dollar spent efficiently, transparently, and with purpose

A Smarter City

  • Evaluate outsourcing options, based on quantitative cost benefit analysis
  • Use technology to streamline and consolidate city operations

Independent.  Accountable

  • Jeremy has no political ambitions beyond the Cocoa Beach City Commission, nor any business interests with City

I’ll keep fighting waste, controlling costs, and putting Cocoa Beach residents first —just like I did in my first term.

Prepare for the worst.  Plan for the Best

  1. Fix what we have. Maintenance before new construction
  2. Protect public safety. Invest in facilities and essential public safety services.
  3. Strengthen core infrastructure. Upgrade water reclamation, stormwater systems, streets, and sidewalks.
  4. End neglect of city assets. No more $14M+ projects while parking garage elevators, street lights, and buildings go unmaintained.

Maintenance-first budgeting

Fully fund upkeep of streets, utilities, lighting, buildings, and landscaping.

Keep Cocoa Beach a safe, livable, residential beach town for families and seniors.
